Another Prince of Persia game will hit the market on May 14 following a mid-April announcement, a prominent industry insider has claimed. Much like the recently released PoP: The Lost Crown, the upcoming title is said to be a spin-off instead of a new mainline entry in the Prince of Persia franchise. The first indication of the game's existence emerged online just recently, via an early April report from Insider Gaming's Tom Henderson. Henderson reported that the title in question is a rougelite helmed by Evil Empire, a French developer best known as the warden of Dead Cells, for which it created a plethora of post-launch content since 2019. Henderson also claimed that the game will be called The Rogue Prince of Persia.
